2015 – Ahmad Pourfallah

President of the Iran-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Mines

Ahmad Pourfallah is a successful entrepreneur in the private industrial sector and president of the Iran-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Mines. He has a law degree and a master’s degree in industrial management. Since 1982 he has been CEO and vice-president of Secco Iran (manufacturer of sections and materials for the construction industry) which operates under licence from Secco Italia in the local market, in close collaboration with the parent company. Offices he has held include chairman of the board of directors of the chemical company Tirajeh; member of the board of directors of the company Hava Pak (air conditioning units); and vice-president of the company Raf (advertising sector). For 20 years he has been vice-president of the steering committee of the bilateral Iran-Italy Chamber of Commerce of Teheran. In addition to being president of this chamber, he is currently a member of the Iranian Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris and is also an active member of various NGOs. The most important of these is Mahak which supports children suffering from cancer, including via private hospital facilities. Ahmad Pourfallah is one of its founders and a member of the current board of directors. He has been decorated with the honour of Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy.
